The A.M.S. NOVA has been brought in to the Australasian market as a result of the A.M.S. ORION’s past success and the rising demand from the market for such tug. The A.M.S. NOVA has been meticulously designed and built to comply with Australian high quality standards and this B.V classed tug will perform exceptionally in inland water, harbour and coastal services.

In comparison with other units in Australia, the A.M.S. NOVA has several notable additions. These include a five-year International Paint (IP) paint specification warranty, twin 25-tonne holding power coupling winches on deck, a marine spec Heila HLM 3-2S deck crane capable of 0.5 tonnes at a 6.9-metre reach and a Mampaey Disc-type 250kN towing hook with remote/manual release.

With her position in Mackay, Queensland, she will be available to service the Australiasian market together with the recently off-hired A.M.S. 1201; 35m construction barge which is currently available for charther in Port Botany, NSW.

A.M.S. NOVA will be the perfect combination with the barge for any harbour or wharf construction projects.
