A.M.S. DARWIN - Fly camp module transportation to Weipa, Qld

A.M.S. has been involved in the planning and scheduling with the contractor for the transportation of fly camp modules from Dampier to Weipa since 2015. Our barge the A.M.S. DARWIN has been utilised for the transport, and the first of four voyages was completed in April 2016.

A.M.S. DARWIN was mobilised from her Port of Dampier cyclone mooring and towed to the Dampier Cargo Wharf for barge preparation works and module loadout, before departing on her voyage to the project site in Weipa, Qld.

After successfully offloading the first cargo of camp modules, the barge has been relocated to Darwin, NT, waiting for the next loadout of modules to be ready for transportation.
