A.M.S. Tugs & Barges is proud to have been able to participate in one of Australia’s largest artificial reef installations in Hervey Bay, QLD. Subcon Technologies were the designers and main contractor for the reef installation. Gladstone based marine service company MIPEC, supplied the marine plant, including A.M.S. NOVA, one of our DAMEN 1606 Stan Tugs.

It was another successful year for A.M.S. Tugs & Barges at this year’s Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition – one of the biggest Oil & Gas Exhibitions in Australasia, held at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre from 11^th to 13^th March.

Held annually at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Australasian oil and gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG) will take place between the 11th and 13th March 2015 and is expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors and over 600 exhibitors from more than 20 countries.

A.M.S. Tugs & Barges is pleased to announce the arrival of an additional 4 point mooring system consisting of 4 x 30T Single Drum Winches and 2 x 308HP “dual pump” Engine Driven HPUs.

Operating in its 10^th Year, A.M.S. Tugs & Barges has gradually increasing its influence through the supply of highly specialised and quality marine vessel to several landmark projects in both WA and the east coast.

Due to their outstanding performance, A.M.S. GLADSTONE & A.M.S. 1803 has generated extensive interest to the local construction companies through their involvements in various landmark projects, (APLNG, GLNG, and QCLNG on both barges and Brisbane Riverwalk for A.M.S. GLADSTONE).

The start of Q2, 2014 has been a really busy period for A.M.S. Team as new generation barges A.M.S. PERTH & A.M.S. DARWIN has won numerous contract. Both of these barges have been heavily involved in the project on North West Shelf especially at Cape Lambert and Port Headland.
