A.M.S. Tugs & Barges continues to expand its barge fleet to meet demands

 

A.M.S. 1802

With the pickup in Australia's O&G Sector, A.M.S. Tugs & Barges has recently committed to the new construction of A.M.S. 1802, a 180ft (54.86m) x 70ft (21.34m) x 14ft (4.27m) Deck Cargo Ballastable Tank Barge with 20 tonnes/m2 deckloading capability.

A.M.S. 1802 has been designed to suit the Australian environment; equipped with 43pcs Class Approved Cargo Stanchions, fully-welded and coated internally for ballasting purposes. She is equipped with a High Spec'ed Jotun Paint Specification System which comes with a 3 year warranty.

A.M.S. 1802 is due for completion end 2010 and will compliment AMS fleet of barges, aiming to base her out of North-West Australia for various offshore/construction operations.

A.M.S. HENDERSON

Having had 2 sister vessels joined the AMS fleet - A.M.S. Brisbane (2009) & A.M.S. Esperance(2010); our 250ft (76.20m) x 80ft (24.40m) x 16ft (4.88m) Deck Cargo Ballastable Tank Barge with 20 tonnes/m2 deckloading capacity design was designed for the transportation of various offshore modules and equipment. Proving to be a great success for various offshore operations, A.M.S. Tugs & Barges have recently committed to another new building of another sister vessel, A.M.S. Henderson, to meet the ever-growing demands of the offshore industry, both in Australia and on a world-wide scale.

Her Construction has been ensured to meet the high standards of the Australian industry, being fully-welded and coated internally for ballasting capability. Similar to her sister vessels, A.M.S. Henderson is equipped with a 3 year warranty High Spec'ed Jotun Paint Specification, Diesel Driven Anchor WInch and 56 Class Approved Cargo Stanchions

A.M.S. Henderson is due for completion end 2010 and will compliment AMS fleet of barges; aiming to base her out of North-West Australia for various offshore operations.
