A.M.S. GLADSTONE heads to Auckland New Zealand for America's Cup Infrastructure Project

News

The city of Auckland is hosting the 2021 America’s Cup regatta and making major changes to Auckland’s port and water front precincts prior to the event.

A.M.S. GLADSTONE will be utilized as a crane barge for the duration of the construction.

A.M.S. GLADSTONE is scheduled to arrive in Auckland late November 2018, so mobilization and project preparation are in full swing at her berth in the Brisbane River.

A.M.S. GLADSTONE was chosen for the project because of her high deck strength capacity to handle large crawler cranes, internal spud wells and 4-point mooring system for stability during operations, and most importantly her past successful track records with the client that is one of the JV partners in this new project, provided an excellent reference.

A.M.S. GLADSTONE has had a great run, recently completed a 2 years charter on Brisbane’s Kingsford Smith Drive Upgrade Project, where she served as the primary crane barge for the project.
