Both barges have been committed on a long term basis to assist in one of Australia’s largest LNG projects in the Gladstone region. With the client’s tight project schedule playing an important factor, A.M.S. 1803 and A.M.S. GLADSTONE were constructed by our experienced yard personnel well under the standard construction time window and at no expense to construction quality and finishing. This in itself has proven to be a landmark achievement for the team at A.M.S. Tugs & Barges; and has showcased the company’s ability to not only meet our client’s specific requirements but to remain in line with the company’s corporate philosophy:-

"To provide all our clients with the most comprehensive services to meet all their marine support and logistical needs under the most equitable terms.

We guarantee prompt, reliable and efficient services at all times."

Both specialised barges were delivered to Australian waters within 6 months of the construction’s commencement date, all the while, maintaining a high standard of quality meeting client’s expectations.

A.M.S. 1803 and A.M.S. GLADSTONE have the cargo deadweight capability of approximately 3,000 tonnes and 3,200 tonnes respectively. Both barges will be equipped with 4 point mooring systems, consisting of 30T winches c/w automated hydraulic driven clutch & brake with auto-spooling function & 165 kW Diesel driven HPUs. Spud wells were designed and integrated into the hull of A.M.S. GLADSTONE together with reinforced crane mats being placed in the aft section to allow up to a 600T Crawler Crane operating on deck.

A.M.S. Tugs & Barges strives to maintain a positive working relationship with all of its valued clients. Every project requirement; however complex or challenging they might be; has been dealt by the team with professionalism, due diligence and quality of work. This will undoubtedly assist us in developing future synergies between existing and future clients for the long run.
