A.M.S. 1807 – Australia Marine Services brand new 180ft x 70ft x 14ft deck cargo ballast tank barge that was delivered to Brisbane Queensland, end of 2016; has secured a charter with a Queensland based marine and civil construction company to act as pilling barge for their project in Samoa Island.

A.M.S. GLADSTONE has been at work on the WEBB DOCK PCP Maritime Project in Melbourne since 2015 and is coming to the final stages of her work scope.

A.M.S. 1803 has been on charter transporting ship block-modules between NSW and South Australia. With complex loadout and offloading operations and tight delivery schedules, the barge has performed to client’s expectation in all deliveries. The barge’s capabilities of ballastable tanks and high deck strength has ensured efficient and smooth operations for the charterer.

The A.M.S. Tugs & Barges operations team have recently completed a planned inspection on our new-build tug, A.M.S. AUSTRALIA, and she is on track for delivery for the end of 2016.

A.M.S. has been involved in the planning and scheduling with the contractor for the transportation of fly camp modules from Dampier to Weipa since 2015. Our barge the A.M.S. DARWIN has been utilised for the transport, and the first of four voyages was completed in April 2016.

A.M.S. ORION recently completed her 5 year BV class renewal/special survey during dry-dock in Gladstone, Qld, and refloated towards the end of April, 2016.
